Questions about your information

Ask the school.

What this website collects

  • The admissions enquiry form asks for your name, your phone number, whether to use WhatsApp, who you are to the applicant, how they would join, the programme they are interested in and your question.
  • It doesn't ask for your child's name, index number or date of birth.
  • When someone sends a question, the website turns the network address and the phone number each into a scrambled code, made with a salt that changes every day. It keeps the codes for about two days and uses them only to limit repeated questions and to answer spam. A scrambled code can still point to a person, so the school treats it as personal information. Ask the school's data protection contact about it.
  • If you choose to use less data, the website keeps one small cookie to remember that. It holds nothing about you.
  • The website may count visits to its pages. It does this without cookies and without knowing who you are.

How long it's kept

  • An admissions enquiry is deleted 180 days after the school closes it, and at most 12 months after it arrives.
  • Enquiries the security check rejects: 24 hours.
  • The scrambled form of the network address and phone number used to limit repeated questions: 2 days.

Your rights

  • You can ask to see the information the school holds about you, and to have it corrected.
  • You can ask the school to delete it when it is no longer needed, unless the law says it must be kept.
  • You can complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana if you think your information was mishandled.
