Fourth in Ghana with a solar-powered baby incubator
Our renewable energy team placed fourth nationally in the Energy Commission's Senior High School Renewable Energy Challenge.
Dabokpa Technical Institute placed fourth in the sixth Energy Commission Senior High School Renewable Energy Challenge, with a solar-powered intelligent baby incubator designed and built by our students.
The incubator is meant for rural health centres where the power supply is unreliable. The Ghana TVET Service congratulated the team publicly on 8 October 2025.
